Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself, Kevin. New to this forum and have been a member of the DCF for a while now. I see a few names I recognize from there. Looking forward to learning from everyone and helping others as best I can. Have hunted waterfowl now for about 30 plus years and used to guide. I hunt along the Columbia and Snake rivers in Washington. Always open to swaping hunts or splitting gas and travel expenses.

Yep, I carve my own decoys. currently using 2 dzn mallards, some cans and goldeneyes and a dzn greenwings. These cover most of the spots I go to. Haven't carved a goose in awhile, though have a stretched canvas one on the back patio waiting for it's feathers to get painted on.
Hope to have a rig for sea ducks for next season.
And you? any decent hunting your way? Yeh, I figured you had some. hehe.

I'd love to see some of your gunners sometime if you get a chance.

The duck hunting up here is pretty good. The season is too short, but lots of birds. Geese is really iffy.

Big game is better - moose, caribou, sheep that sort of thing.

Its bloody cold here right now! -35C.

welcome! you found yourself a good site, a good, fun bunch of guys and of course the gals on here are great! :) can't wait to see some of your gunners. gotta love OR and WA.
