Season ended two days ago and this morning I saw more ducks on Mobile Bay on my drive to work than I have all season! I guess that is to be expected when winter arrives a full month late. It's 45 degrees, cloudy with a nice north wind today, torture, torture, torture.
At least I can dream about next year and teal season is only 8 months away.

Never fails does it? Can't blame hunters for populations I guess. I saw more ducks last weekend on the 3/4 frozen lake than all season put together.

Yep late winter here as well. It is nice to see 100 bluebills swimming around the dock though. Didn't get a can or redhead this year, they didn't show up in good numbers.
