I ordered a blind from Rogers Sporting goods on Monday and it arrived at my door two days later. I purchased the Dakota Decoy Deluxe Outfitter model. Upon unpacking, I am pleased and impressed. This thing is perfect for me, giving me the added room I desired, without being overly big. Easy to set up and packs down well.

A while back I also received a wire frame floater goose decoy, compliments of Chuck Jagger. This thing is awesome. I didn't get a chance to float it before we froze up so I added some temporary "feet" on each side of the keel so I could use for dry land.

Looks pretty good out there.

There is probably enough room. She has her own blind and I'm thinking that's a better option.
Less chance of her interfering with the shooting aspect.
Yeah, I'm nervous when we shoot out of ground blinds or pond boxes with the dog. More so than being interfered with, I don't want to injure the dog. What kind of doggie blind do you have? Something like the mutt hut caught my eye, but if the tide gets high they sit in water. Although not in a blind, my dog was up to his dewclaws in water today at high tide. Had to head home.

Just now focused on the Chuck J goose. Pretty cool, good way to improvise for a field.

I notice you have an oversize spinner working it in the background. You could do better on the paint scheme.

I like Rogers, I've bought a bunch of stuff from them. Tops on my list are their neoprene waders. Good deals on ammo too.

I've had the dog blind for years, don't even know if it's still made. Hunting Kennel made by Sport Pet out of Okauchee WI. Real light weight but protects her from the wind and hides her. Would not be good in any water at all.

I broke out my layout blind Saturday, of similar design to what Dave is using. It worked pretty well in a spartina patens marsh, with some grass and junk on top. Gunner needs a new mutt hut despite his near perfect color in dead grass. Just ordered one from Rogers, everything's on sale right now. I still favor a coffin for high tide but the fabric blinds are otherwise comfortable and lightweight to lug across the marsh.
