Keel guard is held in place with 3M Acrylic foam tapes or VHB as the tradename goes. There are many different VHB tapes and the part you would have to be concerned with is the tape to keelguard adhesion. If you find out what the keelguard material is made out of, I can tell you what tape to use. I might even have some here I could ship your way. PM me and I can pass along the 3M guy who could probably answer your question as well.

Prep is everything. Scuff the surface and wipe down with a good solvent of some type. Primers help the tape sticks well and I have a bunch of that laying around as well.

5200 fast cure would be a mistake IMO. Too much stick for what you want to do and you would have a tough time removing should you ever want to do that in the future.

Let me know.
