The 43rd Annual South Shore Waterfowler's Show was a great success! The above average temperatures made for a great crowd coming by both car & boat with many interesting items & boats on display. As always the show committee did a wonderful job putting together all the elements like years past of the exhibition, vendors, dog retrieval contests, sporting clays & judging contest! Personally, I had a great time meeting up with both old faces & new friends. I was able to have a few items of my own on display including the 14' TDB Seaclass brought by the Duck Boat Company - East Dennis, MA, the 14' Baur "Charlie Guick" Boat tied for 2nd Place alongside Dave Diefenderfer's custom 14' SouthBay boat and a "Pond-Meadow Box" built in Tuckerton, NJ. The 4-Rivers Migrator was also used in the Long Island Field Trial Retriever's competition for a more realistic duck boat retrieve. The weather blessed the show with clear skies & high 70's sea-breeze. Vendors included E-Z Deeks, Estuary Boatworks, Truelife Taxidermy & many others both local & along the coast. Steve Sanford put the show at awe with his James Caird sneak boat display along with a live demonstration of finishing touches towards the newly imported Shovin' Oars from Pencil Brook Farm.
Special thanks to all the members of the SSWA, the vendors, attendees & contributors for another successful show!
Below are some of the images taken this past Saturday, took advantage of the weather to get that unique "birds-eye" view of the action!

Thank you very much for posting your wonderful pictures. I hope between the stills and video you got to take in the show yourself. I keep saying it, bit one day I'll make it to this show and Tuckerton. So much to see and be inspired by.

Anthony, thanks for posting up all the pictures. I made it home last evening before dark. Navigating the island with a trailer is not for the faint of heart! Bumper to bumper, on broken concrete roads.... crazy NY drivers! But the only casualty was a trailer light. It was a beautiful day near the water. Without the breeze, it would have been down right too hot!

It looks like y'all had a great time. Good weather too. Thanks for posting the pictures

Wow, what a great event. We had an event a long spell back that I attended our near Portland and I brought the boat i had at the time as a show model, and to show how the blind set up worked and how to latch the dog ladder on the side etc. It was a lot of fun to meet some other duck enthusiasts.

There was a guy there that had some really great t shirts for sale with Stuff about Labradors and Bird dogs, really neat stuff that I should have bought, but i didn't. Met a lot of good folks there.
