Because of awesome snowy weather (and crappy Picasa 3), I have very limited pictures of Lord Yooper and his trophy hen bluebill. We had a blast on Saturday and barely made it back to shore. The wind was howling when we called it a day. My buddy ran over a decoy line and bound up his trolling motor. I ended up towing him back in with my boat. Best advise I learned was to use a long pole with a hook on the end to pick up decoys in the wind. Everything was covered in ice when we got back but we were all smiles!

Steve, you make a fine GE decoy! He looks amazing on the water.

David~

What a treat to see L. Y. encrusted in ice. Whistlers and ice surely do go together.

Glad you made it off the lake safely. On the other hand, there's nothing quite like gunning in stormy weather.

All the best,

SJS
