title says it my child hood friend is dead. im so angry at him i dont even know what to say. he was 25 years old baseball star in school but the drug was stronger then him. the last conversation i had with him he told me he was going to be moving to start over an i told him that he should. now there is no starting over the end has come for him its funny i can remember every day i spent with him growing up now that he isnt here. it brings tears to my eyes just thinking of it he had the personality he could make you laugh just by being around him and could always talk his way out of any trouble. he was the one that would stand up to the bully i loved him and didnt say it enough.at the end all i can ask is why?

Chris~

I am very sorry to hear of this tragic loss. I cannot offer any answers - only that we hear of this kind of end all too often.

All the best,

SJS

Chris, so very sorry for yours' and his family's loss. Too many lose the battle with narcotics. My thoughts are with you.

Best - Paul

sorry for the loss, chris. the beast of addiction touches all of us in our lifetime but not always as cruelly as it has you. i too have a loved one who has been down the road in a hard core way. clean now but you never know.

Chris,
I'm so sorry for your loss. Life is filled with curveballs. As you grow older you then will become more aware of some who had that dependency with alcohol and or nicotine. Sometimes that list seems to be overwhelming.

I just got home a few minutes ago from visiting a good neighborhood friend of mine who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

After taking several deep breaths, Chris, please take the time to count your blessings. Sometimes that seems to be a really hard thing to do.

Chris, sorry for the loss of your friend. I had a good friend who is going through a spell. Glad I'm a old guy, with all the vices out there now.

Sorry for your loss. Its hard to lose friends no matter when but what a tragedy at that age.

Stay strong and take care,
Tim

Chris - I am very sorry to hear about your friend. What a tragedy. I will lift up you and your friends family in prayer. Hang in there my friend... Pat

Chris I read your post yesterday but found myself with a lack of words and I still do. I am so sorry for you and especially for your friends parents and family.

Chris,
So sorry for your loss. There are no words or answers. Know that you are not alone and remember the positive things he brought to life.

Chris, Just saw your post and am very sorry for your loss. We all need to do our best to enjoy every short time we have. I know words won't bring your pal back but I am very sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear of your loss...Those memories will last of your favorable childhood...I too have lost a handful of friends because vices in their lives they could never conquer, all childhood friends which had dreams of us all driving lambos, big trucks, yachts as big as football stadiums, and etc...Just remember those still living such as his mother and father...Stay in touch with them even when if it wears you out to take time in your life to take a road trip to see them if you live out of town or at least a phone call can help.

Regards,
Kristan
