Your quote is true except, the tall one to the left is my son (other is my nephew) and that camo liner he is wearing, hmmm came from my current parka, those waders, hmmm he liked them better than his... so its begun: the hunt for my gear..
Hey Matt-
Hows the new baby, you and Rochelle getting any sleep? Tanner has grown out of one pair of waders, just this season. He better buy me stuff when he gets older, cause at this rate he is breaking me.
Rochelle and i are doing amazingly well in the sleep department. and every one is doing fine
i hunted the opening morning spot again last weekend and did well 21 ducks and a goose. going to go there again this weekend. every thing is frozen up here except for the rivers.
You bet its a spoonie deek. Next to widgeon they are the most "decoying" bird in my opinion. Frankly i dont have any probelms with them and will shoot a few each year. My son and nephew love them. They are thinking of creating a boone and crockett scoring system for trophy sized bills. The current vote is in for "smile and spread" trophy.
The key words on this post were "California mallards" hehehe.
Take care.

yes some guy was out on the ice by himself and i guess was trying to save his dog and fell through and drowned after he got hypothermia i think any way the dog got out after a while and people started to look for him. not a good thing.
we never go out this time of year alone stuff just happens way to fast when it is cold
