Marsh Boat

Looking for a marsh boat any suggestions ? Have been looking at Four Rivers -Mormarsh -Carsten . Anybody own any of these boats and how do they compare ? Thanks for any replies .

Depends on how you intend on using the boats. It you are going to put a small motor on it, the Momarsh boats I hear are the way to go. If you plan to do more paddling than motoring, the Carsten would be a better choice. I have a Hoefgen Duck Boat (similar to the carsten but much lighter) and I do love it. I wish I could put a motor on it to make it easier to go back upstream.

I'll toss my vote in for the MoMarsh. I have a Fatboy DP that gets used hard!!! Couldn't be happier with it.
 
Hope and I wish I'd never gotten rid of them! Some folks don't like them but I've hunted out of every small boat made and for portability these are the best as far as I'm concerned. The last I heard the guy that bought them from me may have one forsale. I'll check but he's in Illinois so shipping might be an issue for you.
