Mossberg Silver Reserve

I have an opportunity to buy a Mossberg Silver reserve O/U at a fair price.
I am looking at this gun for a knock around gun for dog training.
Any body have any input on this gun?

Gary, I've had the silver reserve in 20 ga for three years or so. I use it for rabbits and general beating around and I have no complainrs thus far.

Don;t know what a "fair price" is--- Had one in 12 ga. Shot two rounds of skeet with it and didn't like it. Has no automatic safety and is somewhat primative all around. Sold it last week for $450.00 and am a little bit ashamed for skinning the guy------ got over it when his check cleared. GV
