Mullins Boat Co

I am reading a book The River of Doubt about Teddy Roosevelt's trip in the Amazon river 1912 era and Mullins steel boats were mentioned made in Salem Ohio which is near were I grew up. I know they made duck boats.
I was wondering if anyone had one or has run into them?

Sweet little vessels! I have always admired the classic, mid-west, double-ended duckboats.

I know nothing about Mullins (although I suspect steel would never become too popular on saltwater - unless you are a ship....) - but I thoroughly enjoyed River of Doubt.
