My new Pup. (Warning-picture heavy)

I thought I'd spend a few moments sharing a few photos of my new pup. I'll try to keep it word short and picture heavy.

We picked her up back in the spring. Our breeder sent us the first photo of her at about four weeks-she aptly called her "the escape artist". We call her "Annie".

Our first visit at about five weeks. Does the wife look just a little happy?

Didn't take long at all for her and the "Old Dog" to become friends.

Even though it's on dry land, her first time in the boat.

Training day this autumn. She's naturally quite birdy.

A little early water work.

And finally, her first "real" duck retrieve at about ten months. I shot a few over her earlier, but I was selective on the first retrieve. The first few harvested birds were a long ways out, or difficult.

So far, other than being a little shy about jumping into the boat from shore, (we'll work on that), she has all the makings of a really good dog. Temperament, desire, birdiness, companionship, etc.

Thanks for lookin'.

Really nice looking pup. It's fun seeing a little pup grow into a bird dog.
