We've been lied to about salt. NaCL (table salt is crap, it dehydrates your cells, Sea Salt and Hymilayan salt has over 82 trace minerals which actually hydrate your cells.)

This study of 500,000 Patients over 10 years proves it.

You can get the pink mineral salts at most grocery stores with a bulk section for baking (in the big barrels) for about $1.50 a pound.

You are correct, but also keep in mind that sea salt and Himalayan salt only have trace amounts of iodine. And iodized salt has the recommended daily amount and was added as a route of ensuring adequate iodine intake. These days there seems to be a lot more iodine deficiencies than in years past. So make sure you are also getting your recommended intake of iodine for your health benefits.

One must strike a balance or pay the price. Ain't no "One Size Fits All" in any situation especially concerning health. Do yer homework that fits your personal health and health issues.
