I'm trying to build the best boat blind for hunting the Mississippi when they ban all permanent blinds in
2 years. I have a 31hp godevil that runs great on a 16ft godevil boat.
If I have a fixed blind built on the boat would it be better to keep the longshaft or change to a
short shaft type motor? Mostly hunt shallow mud backwaters and runs of less than 5 miles.
Is it hard to steer a longshaft with a blind on it and pick up decoys?
Any suggestions on blind design or motor is appreciated.
Also overhead flip open doors I haven't figured out yet.
thanks
