i just built my first kara hummer and im now to the point of fiberglass. i was told it would be best to do the bottom in a whole piece of cloth but cant find anyone around here that sells it that big... what is a good supplier you guys use.

The widest I've seen is 50 inches, which may not be enough. If that will work, Jamestown Distributors has it, but you can get it lots of other places, too.

On my sculler, I overlapped two layers to put a little more protection on the keel line.

When I built mine, I used 2 pieces and they overlapped 3-4" along the bottom. You can very easily smooth that overlap out with a little bit of sanding and another coat of resin.
