New fiberglass product for boats etc...

That looks pretty interesting. Seems kind of expensive though, $12 for a 6"x6" piece.
 
I used a similar product that came in a tube and was about the consistency of toothpaste. I needed to patch a small hole in a Royalex canoe.

I can't recall what it was made for. I think it was called "UV weld" or something like that. The instructions were to apply it in the shade, then expose it to the sun for an hour, and let it set 24 hours before use.

That patch went on my canoe about 1998, and it's still there. I've since used various (non-marine) 2 part epoxies for the same application, and never found anything to match it. I wish I could remember the name and where I got it . . . and will be eternally grateful to anyone who has a clue.

Almost nothing will adhere to the vinyl coating in Royalex canoes.
