My buddy just got a new boat and gave me this one. it was given to him by his grandfather who bought dr. walsh's farm in unionville MD. a few years ago. I dont know if the boat came with the farm, or if it was brought there. It probally came with the farm. I helped my buddy get it to ocean city 5 or 6 years ago and its been in his barn sitting since. He ripped out the seats and put that 3/4" salt treat on the floor and bow. (im gonna take that out for sure..heavy as heck). Its a George S. Jackson, proally 17' x 4.5' (didnt put a tape on it). and just looking at the hardware and some of the wood around the signature its probally from the early to mid 70's. ??? i found a george jackson in cambridge md, but he's out of town till mar. 2nd. Im thinking he'll know a little about it. does anyone know any history on a george s. jackson on the eastern shore?
