I am curious as to who built this boat. It was last registered in NJ in 2000.
What is the best method of attaching raffia to it?

What is the best method of attaching raffia to it?

The hull appears to only have toe rails. One could add grassing rails or attach mesh net for a base, then add the raffia to the netting.

I am curious to hear if you figured out the builder. A friend of mine recently purchased a boat that has some similar details.

There are some similarities. Wonder were I could get a dodger like that one?
Your buddies boat looks to have been built with the traditional cedar plank decking. Mine is cedar hull and plywood deck. Nice boat!

I have not yet determined the builder. I sent some pics to the Mystic Seaport Museum several weeks ago and have not had a response.
