Old dog and river float

Hi,

A couple of photos from a recent trip.

I saw this old boy in a grocery store in the Methow Valley. He looked about as old and beat up as the pickup he was laying in. He did enjoy a quick scratch behind the ears.

Here is one of Aspen as she waits paitently for the crew of her pontoon boat.

Don,
I'll bet that pup really enjoyed that scratch behind the ear. Good to hear from you and also see that you are enjoying life. That second shot is sure a dandy. Looks like the two of you had a great day on the river. Nice looking rig you have there. Did you do any fly fishing?

Al,

We fished for four days. The mainstem river and the high creeks. We have a ton of water this year but we never got a big fast melt off. It has stayed high but steady and cold. The fish are in excellent shape. Lots of westslope cuts, brookies, and rainbows.

These pictures are not the best quality but they show some of the fish and water. The brookies were already colored up. I could have gotten a better photo of the cutthroat but I was in a hurry to get it back in the water.
