I hope this is the correct place to post this....
Recently, I have become aware of an orphanage in Honduras where the young boys (ages 6 to 18) are taught skills they can use in life after they leave and go out on their own. One of these skills is wood working and carving.
Currently, they share one 2" chisel between them to relief carve with. If anyone seeing this may have an old spoke shave, scoop gouge, chisel set, hand drill (preferably old school non electric) or carving knife they would like to donate please contact me in the message section. I would like to get two of each of the above.
Thank you so much for reading this and I shall be eternally grateful if you can assist with this project.
The mission trip is scheduled to head down there in January..forgot to post that in my original posting.
