I saw this on a small canal off an open river while driving around Saturday looking at ducks and people ice fishing on ice that you couldn't pay me to go on.
I guess he never got out to bail after all the heavy rains we had a week ago. Now his boat is not only sunk, but frozen in.
I can only imagine the look on his face when he carried the gas can down to hook up the outboard and go fishing. He probably planned to drag the boat the 50' or so to open water. With the cold temps expected this week he's out of a boat for a while unless he gets to chopping.
