PA Opening Day Goose

Hunting opening day of the late Goose season in PA. We got 3 Snows and a Canadian. Could have had a much better day, unfortunately the wind would blow our decoys over at the worst time. There were numerous occasions where geese would come in and our decoys would get blown over and they would flare off! But all in all it was an enjoyable morning in the blind!

Wow Tim,
having cut corn this time of year is like sitting on a gold mine.

Are you guys using layout blinds or a home made set up?

We are all hunting out of layout blinds. It's the way to go, nice and comfortable. We will be out tomorrow morning, hoping the wind will be less of an issue! Nothing better then watching the sunrise out of a layout blind with a cup of warm coffee!
