Pat has really found something special with his feather stamping. The combination of his impresiionistic paint jobs and this method of espressing a feather shape is a great combination. Straight forward, utilitarian, historical, efficient. All decoy for sure...

Thanks for entertaining us Pat!

Geoff, thanks for sharing the photos. I was hoping to see how the stamps were applied. I hope Pat will put together a video someday and post in carvers corner, hint, hint, hint.

Pat, those decoys look fantastic! " Straight forward, utilitarian, historical, efficient. All decoy for sure... "

Thanks.

Geoff - Thank you for the kind words and, always great seeing you and Jack. I appreciate you passing this on to your son by including him in what you do. Your influence on him is admirable. Also, amazing photos. You definitely made a sow's ear look like a silk purse.

Regarding the show, each year the Board gives us contemporaries a little more rope to do our thing. I love the direction this is headed and, thank you for your ongoing support and attendance. I believe the more carvers from this forum that get involved at St. Charles, the more outstanding this show will become. We can have a major influence on it.

Anyway, great to see you and the rest of the guys from the forum. Just so you know, like a good tune, that Rob Capriola green wing is stuck in my head... :)
