Product Question - Mud Buddy Decoy Bag

Anyone own one of these or hunted with someone who owns one. I would like to clean up the floor space on the duck boat for next season and came across this at Cabelas while visiting this past weekend. Looks like a neat idea. I read one comment where an individual said it is not a good product in cold weather due to the mesh on the bottom of the bag freezing and ripping. Also said the mesh on the bottom froze to the bottom of his boat causing problems. Since I hunt freezing weather, I don't need a product that doesn't work well in the cold.

Any other alternatives that hold this many dekes on the side of the boat that won't set me back a months pay?

From the Cabelas description of the product.

"Setting up and taking down your decoy spread is quick and easy with the Mud Buddy Space Saver Decoy Bag. Attaches to the side of the boat so there are no more loose decoys in the bottom of the boat or decoy bags to crawl over. Instantly detaches from the boat so you can take it out in the water. Mesh bottom for optimal draining. Handles on end for carrying. Top loading. Holds 3 dozen magnum duck decoys. Access from inside or outside of boat. Wide opening. Rope pull-tie top closure. Hardware included."

Mark, I have one in my Phowler Extreme 1760 for just the same reason. I put all our chairs, lifejackets/throw cushions, saftey gear along with a bunch of other stuff and there is plenty of room. I have hydro-turf on the floor of my boat that the bottom of the bag sits on, so no freezing and ripping, but I could see it freezing to bare alum. Overall after 3 seasons of use I really like it and is a great way to tidy up the boat.
