Public opportunities in Southern Illinois???

I don't know how much info you can find online but there is lots of public hunting opportunity in S.IL. I been gone for a number of years but there are plenty of lakes and public areas. It is no longer the goose capital of the US but there still has to be plenty of ducks to hunt. Rend, Crab Orchard, Oakwood Bottoms, Cache River, Pyramid State Park, Horse Shoe Lake, Union County, Mermet, LaRue scatters. Go to IDNR website and look up areas. My friends in SE IL seem to be pounding mallards and gadwalls this weekend by the pictures they sent.
