Question on Repairing a Crack

My Devlin Broadbill has developed a crack where the decking meets the transom panel. I was thinking about injecting the crack with either pure epoxy or a mixture of epoxy and wood filler. Any suggestions on how to best repair?
Thanks,

I would open the wound, sand or grind the area around the crack and patch with 2" tape so you have good overlapping from transom up over the edge of the decking.

Why did it crack!?!? The most common reason for a crack/failure like that is expansion of the pour in floatation foam after decking, but I don't know if this is the case. We have seen this happen a number of times before.

If you don't fix the underlying reason for the crack, it will probably come back. If it is the foam, I'd take the deck off in that area and remove some of the foam.

That is the first thing that came to my mind as well, why the heck did it crack like that in that spot???
