Well the new rig im picking up I need to buy a spare for it. So i figured since I HATE painted rims and they rubber is 6 years old I may as well get 3 new ones on Galvanized rims.

ST205/75D14 is the current tire a Bias Ply.

3 new bias 300
3 new Radial 370

Is it worth the extra for Radials? Im tire stooopid.

I really like the interior, way better than my old bucket seats

Going to look at it around Xmas Day

I think the blind builder was STEALTH inspired lol

Dave, great looking boat. Very interesting Lind concept. I can see the stealth influence as well. So much so that I can't find the engine on the transom???

Sorry I can't be of help in the tires. Good luck with the new rig and selling the old Lund.

Dave, I have run both radial and bias tires on trailers and both seemed to work OK. One thing I will tell you though, if you get the radials be ready to be told at almost every gas stop that your tires are low. At least you have 14 " tires, I shredded a 13" way out beyond and learned that not every lill gas station has 13" tires, since then I carry 2 spares on that trailer. Not common = $$$$ ding ding. Oh yeah, people who know about these things tell me trailer tires are different from car tires, just sayin. Probably not much help but as always I will be watching this one too.

Dave,

That's a great looking rig! As far as tires I have radials on my Bay boat trailer which are 14" and I have bias ply on my 14' aluminum boat trailer which are 8". One thing about bias ply is the side walls are stronger and don't look like they are low all the time. Bias ply track a little better because of the stronger side wall. You'll notice much more flexing of the side wall with the radial tire which isn't all bad with a heavy boat.
