We had a great hunt in the airboat marsh Sunday afternoon. The wind was cool and blowing and the birds were flying. Here's a couple photos from the afternoon.
Dang, you're getting waaaaay too good with that camera Hitch! Those are excellent shots. When you are doing that, how are you keeping the bird in focus? I've been playing with it some, and that seems to be the part I'm having trouble with.
The lens does most of the work. It has auto focus and an Image stabilizer. You can set the focus range and the Image stabilizer for panning, but even then only a few photos out of hundreds turn out like these. I have found though that swinging the camera is allot like swinging a gun... the more you do it, the better you get.
Like Borat would say..."NIIIICCE!" The few ringers I see up here early in the season aren't plumed out nice and pretty like the ones you see in Florida.
And Josh thats fine. Have at em. I just started marking them because I got a PM on another site which was a little disturbing. Your welcome to them for that.
