Nice house in the small village of Lucky Lake Sask. for sale. $37500.00. 1200 sq feet, 2 1/2 bedrooms (1/2 is bed in basement), two bath, large garage. Offered totally turn key! Stove, two refrigerators, washer, dryer, freezer, computer, TV with dish. All furniture, bedding, dishes, etc. etc. There will be nothing a person needs to buy. Lucky Lake is one of the better regions for snows, whitefronts, cranes, some years lots of ducks, others not, and partridge. In June/July there is world class walleye and northern pike fishing from shore. No boat is needed.
It is remarkably easy for someone from the U.S. to buy a house in Sask. There are a couple of forms to fill out, and about two weeks to get them approved. Waterfowl hunting starts getting good in mid-September for snows, whitefronts, cranes, and runs into late October. In November the Canada geese and mallards arrive. This will prove to be a very good deal for someone, or two people going together. Propriety values are going up in the village of Lucky Lake. We had the house recently appraised at $42,000-$45,000. My wife and I will be using the house next year until October 10th. We hope to turn over the keys to someone on that date.
