I finally got out for a couple hours Sunday after church. It was hot (90s) but rather windy and wavy, with everyone at the park. More vehicles parked in the trailer only parking slots than trailers! That was frustrating. Anyway, I had not had the boat in the water since I installed the bimini, the depthfinder, and made some progress sharpening the trailing edge. I found everything working quite well. I did not attempt to calibrate the depth finder, but it registered and was relative at least, showed shallow when I was, and deeper when I was not! The bimini shaded me well, and while I was only able to get up to about 26mph as measured on the depthfinder, I did not experience any of the wild porpoising I had in the past. I will spend a little more time cleaning up what I added to the trailing edge, sanding it and final filling then painting it. Want to shake it out on a flat day before I declare total success, but I am amazed how little change made such a significant handling change.

Solid anchor stake needs a little more float to ensure I don't lose it! I have another oval float to drill out and add yet.
