I have been getting out most mornings.
I do enjoy weekday hunts, so much so, I often will not hunt the weekends. The was a slight frost on the windshield this morning when I left my home. Glad I grabbed some gloves for the boat ride to my spot. It's a short run of about 1 1/4 miles from the ramp to the area I hunt. I do have to follow the channel or risk grounding the motor or running up on a sunken or exposed log. Not that many years ago the whole area was 4 to 5 foot deep and now there are exposed mud flats, gravel bars and dead trees littering the main bay above the launch point.
