Spokeshave Information

Hi guys,
I am looking for information as to where I can purchase a good quality spokeshave for shaping decoys.
I own a couple of antique spokeshaves that have been well used and need to be retired.
Looking for a quality tool that will last.

Although I have no experience using their spokeshaves, I have purchased and/or used some of their other woodworking tools and Veritas makes some very nice tools. Tim, These are nice tools that will last a lifetime. The rounded compass shaves are the best for decoy work.

The veritas tools are nice, but I have seen several where the throat clearance is minimal and it clogs with shaving quickly.

Rutgers rehabs spoke shaves. Maybe you could send him yours and he good get them up and slicing again for a small fee.
