Steve.......I put a flock to bed this evening.

there were two long beards in the bunch. They flew up into some pines about 100 yards N/E of the shop. Another flock headed south into the neighbors trees. I heard another flock further up the mountain behind the shop as they headed up into the pines. I don't have any idea what time they fly down, since I don't get up early anymore :^)

If the winter flock hasn't broken up yet then they'll likely relocate again once they do but it would be neat if they continue ot roost close to the place.....

I'll call you when I get back from Florida...

Steve,

That flock has been in flux for 3 weeks now and constantly changing. Last night the flock contained several hens, 2 jakes and one long beard. This morning when they came down into the food plot there was 3 Jakes and FOUR long beards in the flock. The 3 other long beards could have been part of the birds that I heard further up the mountain last night. Hard to say as the whole valley is on the move with turkeys now.

Talk to you in a few.

Dave
