SXS shotgun

Dear Sirs:

I picked up a stoger uplander 20 ga SXS and loved it. I am looking for something quicker then my 870 for the decoying ducks and possibly pat hunting. Specifically: 12 guage, SXS, choke tubes, double triggers, under 1K. I am thinking of a CZ bobwhite. I picked up a Nova, 1100, and a Red Label and liked both. I just really like the ballence, mount, and swing of a SXS. Thanks,

have a franchi highlander 12 and 20 -- like both -- they fit me well and do what i ask - haven't had a lick of trouble with either

but both are single trigger
 
I was in at cabela's the other week and I shoulder a 20ga. Tristar sxs and it was on sale for under $800. It fit good and had the feel of a remington stock and the sight to bead was perfect. The wood was nice and checkering was good along with choke tubes. I also saw a two barrel set sxs of 20ga. and 28ga. on the Guns America site for about 1k.

if you dont care much about fit and finish then the spartan gun works (remington) sxs i think sells for 300 something. they are based on the russian baikal and would make a good duck gun just dosent have double triggers. but comes with tubes and can be had in 12ga. i had the baikal version and the one i had was gorgeous for 325 bucks. the fiish was nice and the fit was decent. i never practiced enough with it to be good and sold it without realizing thats why i couldnt hit anything. wish i had it back that was a great gun to take to the duck blind.
