Tdb classic 14

I would be concerned with the integrity of glassed over plywood. At this stage of the game if glass over wood construction, you are looking now or in near future and price should reflect that. Hate to be doom and gloom but best to plan on the worst and expect the best.

The early TDB's as I understand it were built with wood cores but it wasn't plywood, it was balsa core. Balsa core has been being used in the structure of boat builds for many years. And now that these boats are reaching 20+ years of age some are starting to show signs of thier age. Closely inspect for week floors and transoms. These are problem areas that will need to be fixed.

Hard to beat a TDB regardless, They were and still are a very highly sought after specialty duck boat.

Thanks I will be picking the boat up this week checked it out over the weekend deal I can not pass on will post pics of the boat when I get it
