All right y'all-

Tomorrow at 8 AM EST I will be taking a physical test: run, jump, pushups, situps and swim, so that I can get into an interview with FWC (FL Fish and Game) as a game officer. I gotta pass the test before I get the interview so any good thoughts directed towards me passing the test will be MUCH MUCH appreciated!!! Every little bit will help right?

Good luck on the physical test, from what I have heard, the physiological test is the hard one. I guess some of the questions you are asked make you wonder if you really want the job! Some one in the position had to think of the questions!

You become a game officer and we may not be able to hunt together anymore. JK Good luck but for the life of me I don't know why you would want to.

I have watched a couple of those "Beach Patrol" and "Party Patrol" shows and they sometimes have a FWL LEO on boats. Quite a few of those guys couldn't run, jump, pushup, situp much of anything. Push back from the table maybe, but not often enough to help them out. You will do well.

Okay but only if you promise to be one hard-nosed ticket writing officer with a penchant for nailing waterfowlers that ignore the most basic laws like shooting hours and limits. I think the sate of FL and its wildlife will only benefit by your service. Best of luck.
 
Well I appreciate all the good thoughts for me, but I didn't pass. I did the best I could but ended up not coming up to their standards for the test. Thanks for all the well wishes. Perhaps in six months?

Off to have my ...ummmmm my pity party.....
