Another beautiful morning except the cloud cover made for a really dark night sky.
Cinnamon got her workout today making three retrieves. Nice mixed bag consisting of one Gadwall and two Bluewing Teal.

Am I wrong that it's really late for blue wings as far north as you are?

We typically see them here just before our season opens in late September. A few are still around in our very early season into early October. After that it's all greenwings.

Yes you are correct, however, we as well as our neighbors to the north have been experiencing very mild weather.
