Toilet seat...

Neat Pat! Did you float it? I'd be curious how it rode the water. Should have good visibility. Thanks for sharing.

Pat I like it.

One thing no one can say about you is that you dont have your own style. I think is needs a girl friend to complete the package though.

Lookin' good Pat, a little flat for my taste, but do like the alert pose and the paint. And I agree, he does need a better half.

Nice!!

It looks somewhat similar to the design used in my family. Ours are less round, more oblong, but equally flat.

I love it!

Guys - Thank you for the kind words. Didn't float this but, am thinking about using it as a prototype for some gunners. Would do some drakes and hens if I did. Will post them up if I do. Thank you again for the encouragement! I really appreciate it!!!

For you carvers, don't be scared to step out of your comfort zone. It's the best way to stretch yourself and grow as a carver. Keep the chips flying and God bless! Pat

hehehe,,,,,,,, everytime I pick up my carving knife, I am taking a step out of my comfort zone. I look at the work done by some of the talented carvers here on this site and want to burn my tools and hide my decoys. But I keep trying and I guess that is what counts. It is a good thing that the ducks aren't as critical of my work as I am or my spread would be pretty lonely.
