Too much ice to hunt

But no shortage of birds.

I was taking a picture of my mother-in-law's next door neighbour's toy tug when i saw a flock of birds on the right.

Iced in here in CT as well. Had to ram ice with my kayak to get back to the ramp after the temp dropped once the sun came up. All that work to only see birds when two guys ran their boat through my decoys.

maybe we could get Capt James to fire up that 12 valve cummins in his tug and troll some diver lines for us.. I think with these wicked cold snap, those birds will pile into the river any day now.. Season closes on the 11th so we still have time for a world class shoot yet
 
My gosh, it is amazing that the camera worked. It looks, soooo cold! That is a ton of ducks out there. Hope your trip out east was a good one, Paul.
