Trip to Kauai-definitely NDR

Taking the family for a much deserved vacation to Kauai. We are staying at a condo in Kapa'a. Planning to relax and not spend every minute running all over the island but would appreciate suggestions on things we should check out.

Kilauea Point and Hanalei National Wildlife Refuges. Waimea Canyon, Na Pali coast.

Spear fishing. You can get an H sling for around $30 and have tons of fun trying to get a shot at a tasty reef fish.

If I remember correctly I think that's the island with all the feral chickens right? Next time I go, I'm getting a pellet gun and going rooster hunting.

That's the island.....feral chickens everywhere. They are kind of iconic.
