Tuckerton This Weekend

I haven't heard much chatter on the Tuckerton Show that is this weekend, is it worth the drive from Virgina to see it?
Thanks,
Mike

It's is worth it. If Steve Hoover drives from Ohio and Bankes Boats are there...what more would you need to convince you? The park is paked with Decoys, Boats and hunting accessories. I've been to a lot of shows and this is by far my favorite. There isn't even a close second.

My wife and I plan to drive up Saturday and spend the night somewhere in the area and visit the show again on Sunday.
Thanks,
Mike

I'm looking forward to it. This year will be the most I've participated. Entering 4 cedar birds in the show, running my Golden in the retriever competition and may even do the duck calling competition. Not sure on the last though. But I will be buying up some more cedar and carving supplies. Next year I'd like to have a table for my decoys. Just gotta carve enough to sell.

Was planning on a bringing a couple boats, but haven't had the time this year. I've been busy with the new house a garage. I be coming to walk around Sat. Next year we WILL be bringing a couple boats. One is the boat our DU chapter is raffling off next year. Hope to put some faces with the names this year though.

Great show.... went last year and had a great time. lf it has anything to do with waterfowl, you will find it at Tuckerton. Wish l could go this weekend, but l am going flyfishing for king & coho salmon....

Is a great show. I went last year for the first time and had a blast with my son. We are looking at Saturday but the weather is an issue. Most of the show is outside. A big rain would be a problem. Unless you are a duck hunter!

Sure the paper stuff will be wet but all the true duck hunting stuff will be just like a real hunt.

Bummer Jim,
I could see it being a Mud Pit and will plan accordingly. But, without on the ground reports, I am coming from CT. So I hope they have at least a dog or two decoys still there.
We will eat at the Seaport if we have to and look at all the cool BBSB's over there if the show packs up.

Jim,

We dont watch the weather except for the girls!
We do have a good service for wind when it comes to hurricanes and north easters, but we pay for that.

I am trying to sell my wife on a rainy car ride with 3 kids and a wet lab shaking in the car to get to the duck show!

I'll be there rain or shine. Hope the wood suppliers are still there.

It is a decoy and boat show, why is the rain a concern!!!!?????

Because in the past when it rains, vendors don't show up. Ridiculous I know, but thats how it goes.

I just came back from the park, set up this AM to avoid the crowds. About half the vendors were there already setting up and hoping for the best...............The show goes on rain or shine.

I'm waterproof so are the ducks.....................;>)

My dealer, Rich Young and I will be at the Tuckerton show with my new Duck Boss 13 along with the Duck Boss 15 and 17. Looking forward to seeing everybody there.

I'm new to this forum and am looking to buy a Beavertail Stealth 2000 kayak. (can't post a classified yet)Do you know of any available or if they are typically at the Tuckerton show?
My son and I are planning to attend tomorrow.

Hi Jay, welcome to the forum, I think you'll like it here. Haven't talked to you in awhile.

I am not sure if beavertail will be there this year or not, but I remeber seeing one there last year.

I just picked up two duck hunting kayaks, about same dimensions.

I'll have one @ the show on display and a friend will also.

Hope you and the family are doing well, Jode Hillman
