Unusual elk antlers.

A guy brought me a head from a bull he took on Saturday. The pedicle on the passenger side is in a weird spot, and I can't yet see why. When I get all the meat off maybe I'll be able to see signs of a skull fracture. Anyone ever seen something like this?

Now that's something I've only seen once before-a local sporting goods store has a bull mounted that has 1 antler growing straight out of the center of his forehead. Maybe this one's skull was damaged when he was a youngster?
