Guys ,

I have been using System 3 epoxy on my 1st boat project as well as the current Kara project , but the price has gone through the roof , so i am thinking about going with Us Composites for the Kara glassing , anyone ever use it and has it held up well ? Another reason why i am considering Us composites is that it a thin mixture System 3 is thicker which adds weight where i am trying to limit the weight of thids build . Thanks in adavance for any hlp

I've used US composites on about 15 boats. 1 glass over wood the others all straight glass, kevlar or carbon fiber. Have never had any problems. good product , good price and good customer service.

I second Dave.

I have used West, System 3, Raka and US. Really haven't seen any big differences, execpt in price, where US has been significantly cheaper. They have also been very helpful on the with questions and advise.

My boat project was built with US Composites epoxy. I'm happy with it. I've been meaning to show you the boat anyway, so if you want to take a look at it before you decide, just call me (I'll send you a message with my numbers in case you don't have them).
 
My only issue with them in 4 or 5 orders was that they pack so many peanuts in the package. Those darn things get everywhere.

Fast friendly service and great pricing. Still not sure why people even use West System at 3x the price???

Thanks so much for the information , i used System 3 on my cackler love the stuff but the price has gone from $40 for 1 gallon on resin to $76 good stuff but the price is to steep for me when i can get a kit with resin and hardener for 63.00 ?? Wow big difference , i will be ordering the epoxy today in hope of getting the Kara finised for our early season in a few weeks . I will also be getting some pictures up when we can find the digital camera !! Thanks for all the tips .
