I've been chasing snows in the spring each of the last four years in VT and have been highly disappointed with the numbers of birds on this side of Lake Champlain. Word is, that most of the snow migration has moved to the west side of the lake and birds are largely staging near Rouses Point, NY and west. While a VT guide can likely put you under some birds, the big numbers are in NY.

Matt Martin with Frontier has good gunning over near Plattsburg, NY side of Champlain for spring snows. He's very dialed in and has a great set up.

I have heard Matt does well. It is true, most of the snows seem to track up the NY side. Snows in VT just don't seem to be here as much
