That is a beautiful piece of Waterfowling hisrtory. I have no clue as to its maker, but someone on here can certainly help.

It's a classic double-ender from the Midwest. I'm an Atlantic Tidewater guy - but you may want to check out Dan Kidney & Son - from near green Bay.

Many one off builders in that area. The open inwale/outwale gap suggests canoe builder. The combing is not around the whole cockpit area so may be an add on or damaged and partially eliminated. There are alot of clues . More pics if you can
