Well done, enjoy a little crown in your throne.

Nice! Are those groves in the back for sweat drainage on a hot day? Set it on a beach ball and you've got yourself a rocker.

Guarunteed someone would want to burn that May Long Weekend after a good round of Jump the Fire and all the lawn chairs already got set ablaze.

Very cool Shermie,

thanks guys i had this huge yellow birch and she was solid and end was huge and part of the base where the processor cut into it was still there so i says what the heck i never tried it before ,i gotta tell ya there is no do overs lol.the new saw is an xp and has high rpm great for blocking but not so good for carving ..

when my dad saw it he said well where the rest of the set for the family momma ,poppa and baby bear ...lol

ill see ,cripes you get a whole wheel barrow of wood out of one piece...

thanks again guys

a belt sander and the roughness will be better

as for the grooves i was shooting for andarondack [Spelling] hehe.. just the new saw getting away from me it was hard to judge how deep you were going with out seeing the end of the bar...

i did slope the seat back tho so snow and water would run off thru the side slits...

funny thing there is moss all over the bark dad said now thats a real mossy oak camo chair... well its a birch not much oak up here...
