What is this outboard worth?

2006 Johnson two stroke 9.9 long shaft motor, tiller. Very low hours, runs very well.

I might sell it to upgrade to a bigger motor.

What would I get for it?

I looked at a 2001 15hp evenrude today with electric start. Guys asking 650. I'm goint to offer 500 and I think he'll take it.

Carl, about 2 months ago I bought an 87 15hp long shaft electric start for 250.

No, pull start. Less than 10 hours on it. I am most likely going to keep it. It is the last year they made two strokes in that size. Can't get them anymore. It is immaculate and I would feel foolish if I needed it down the road. I despise four strokes.

I might just keep my eye out for a beater 20 or 25 and have one of each. Thanks for the responses.
