That's great Victor. I hope he helps you spill much Merganser blood. Do the hooded ones taste any different than the other ones? We eat a few commmons and they aren't bad. I'd eat a Merganser over an OS or a Harlie any day.
We eat the hoodies that get shot when we are in Ontario..they are good on Duck-ka-bobs...no one really knew the difference between them, buffies,bills...they were good. Use Adolfs Meat Marinade then do the kabob up with green peppers, onions and little tomaters..you can wrap the meat in a bacon strip..when the bacon is crisp take off and eat.
