Hi Jim, Sounds like a great trip. I hunted with Capt. Todd a few years ago with my Dad. We hunted mid November and had a great time and I was able to take a great bull can. Todd was first class to hunt with. Does he still do the "Big Breakfast"?

Great shots of those pins! If you decide to try and get closer let me know and I can lend you a layout blind or coffin blind and a few full body pintails....just might be the trick.

Matt Martin with Frontier has good gunning over near Plattsburg, NY side of Champlain for spring snows. He's very dialed in and has a great set up.

Here's a quick picture that shows the new seat, the longer section is great for us bigger guys. Very comfortable... it measures 24" for reference in the photo. It also has stubble straps in the back to add some cover.

I agree 110% I bought mine near the end of the season last year and after using it a few times, wished I would have ordered one earlier. I just used it on Monday as the rest in my new to me 10ft aqua pod and it was very comfortable. The fact that it doesn't absord water is huge!

Hi John, sorry it took so long to post these. Some of the pics show the boat all dressed up and others show the space/config of the inside of the boat with the blind on, etc.

If you consider going as far as SD, you should really think about going to SK, MB or even Ontario. A group of us has been freelancing in SK and MB for 10 years now and it's a great trip. Great people who are very generous with access to land and helpful in a hundred different ways and the bird...

John, I hunt from a Lund SSV 18 both open water sea ducks/divers as well as puddle ducks and it works pretty well. Another NJ guide option to hunt from pit blinds is Kevin Popo. He's got some great pits and some real quality gunning for honkers and depending on the year snows as well. Have been down to hunt with him several times and always had a great time.
