    Mice, not duck related

Have you seen the pouches of peppermint and cinnamon as a deterrent? I can't say for sure if they work, but I threw twenty of them in my enclosed trailer hoping to keep the mice away during the winter.

Does anybody hunt out of a 20' modified jon?

It's a modified V jon boat, not as deep of v as Lunds but some. I hear you on the winch and slicks, current boat is 26' and I still hand crank.

Does anybody hunt out of a 20' modified jon?

I got old, hunting partners moved on, so my ablity to hunt has changed. I can no longer throw around a layout boat, nobody to tender so I have to find a way to hunt alone. While at Cabala's I noticed a 20' modified V jon boat. Thinking I can carry enough decoys to hunt open water and shoot...

Need feedback on 3D printers- hobby usage

Personally, If I was in your position, I would pick the Bambu A1 For context, I picked up an Anycubic Kobra 2 Max about a year and a half ago. It’s a very nice printer that makes quality prints, has quite a few nice quality of life features that are leaps and bounds better than my Ender 3, and...

Need feedback on 3D printers- hobby usage

Mr. McCann, My name is Michael Holley, you may remember my father, Andrew Holley. He sent you a bag of freeze-dried duck heads for one of your dogs a few years ago, we also have one of your craving knives from a get together many years ago. He asked me to help answer your questions, as I know...

Fight It, Or Not? (Any Cops Here Feel Free To Weigh In. My feelings Won't Be Hurt If You Say I Deserve It)

Fighting the ticket or not is one issue. As I see it there is a second issue, attitude of the officer. His job is to protect and serve. Being pissed off is not part of the job, in fact dealing with stressful situations is what the job is all about. I would be talking to his boss, chief of...

    Merrymeeting Bay build difficulty

I built the Merrymeeting Bay scull boat several years ago based on Sandy Point Boat Works plans. It's a cedar strip boat, if you have a table saw, router and table, it's a fairly easy boat to build. I used it for a few years, then sold it off. As far as a scull boat, I didn't care for it that...

    Eric? Mark? Who did this?

Strange how things pop back in your head. A few years ago someone posted a story about them being robbed, police caught the thieves, and whoever it was went to sentencing and spoke and I believe took the kids hunting (shortening the story considerably). My question is did anything ever come of...

What the heck is wrong with people these days?

For the past two years, my daughter has made metal yard art, mostly butterflies and dragonflies, selling to family, friends and having a couple yard sales. Kid has made some money, bought a plasma table and now has several different products. Had planned on hitting the art fairs and craft...

    More Facebook Marketplace Loonies

In the last two weeks, I have bought a milling machine, a flap sander and a drum sander. All of them I paid their asking price. Guess I have been doing it wrong, can I go ask for some of my money back?

    sander/polisher recommendations

I owe a Festool Rotex 150, you can switch it from random orbital sander to "forced" orbital sander which is more like a grinder. The tool is a beast, it has done everything I have asked it to do, from finish sanding cabinet doors to grinding steel. It has been used to build two stitch and glue...

    What's on your WORK BENCH ? - February 2020

Dani, my daughter walks by as I am looking at your post, stops and says "why can't I have a couple pink drawers out in the shop" and then keeps on walking. Andrew

    Electrical wiring help GFI outlet

Mark I need another pic, need to see where the wires go to in the mess of wire nuts. It's probably simple enough, power in and power out (without protection) and they just swapped the colors ( white became the hot and black became the neutral), this would be fairly common in the "do it...
